Sharjah Charity Association has stepped up its relief efforts in Gaza by delivering more than 116,000 aid packages. This work is part of the UAE’s larger humanitarian campaign to support families affected by over 600 days of conflict.
The aid includes a wide range of essential items such as food, clean water, baby formula, blankets, and education kits. These supplies aim to help displaced families who are struggling to meet their basic needs.
In addition to delivering aid packages, the charity has also opened 20 field kitchens to provide daily meals to those in need. It has restored 10 bakeries to ensure bread is available for local communities. Another important part of the mission is digging wells to provide clean drinking water to more than 312,000 people in Gaza.
These efforts are being carried out under the guidance of the UAE’s President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has emphasized the importance of helping those suffering from conflict and displacement. The goal is not just to provide emergency relief, but also to help people rebuild their lives with dignity.
The Sharjah Charity Association’s work is making a real difference for thousands of families. By offering both immediate aid and long-term support, the UAE continues to show its strong commitment to humanitarian values.
As the situation in Gaza remains challenging, efforts like these bring hope and much-needed support to those going through difficult times. The UAE’s compassion continues to shine through its on-the-ground actions.
