Researchers in Sharjah have discovered and recorded three plant species in the United Arab Emirates for the first time. Among these newly documented plants are Dactyloctenium australe and two varieties of Neurada procumbens.
The Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) highlighted this discovery as an important step in protecting and understanding the country’s biodiversity.
