Sharjah will soon welcome leaders, experts, and specialists from around the world for the 14th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2025), which will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah. The event is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
Organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, the forum will run for two days and bring together 237 international experts and speakers. The theme of this year’s gathering is “Communication for Quality of Life,” highlighting how effective government communication can directly improve people’s lives and shape better societies.
The programme is extensive, featuring 51 panel sessions, 22 practical workshops, and seven specialized talks. Key issues on the agenda include food security, public health, education, sustainability, and the green economy—topics that are closely linked to global wellbeing and future development.
With the support of 30 local and international partners, IGCF 2025 aims to demonstrate how strong communication strategies can build public trust, encourage innovation, and promote policies that place human wellbeing at the center of progress. It is expected to serve as an important platform for sharing knowledge and experiences that will benefit communities both regionally and worldwide.
