Sharjah Police has launched its Ramadan awareness campaign, “Aman Ya Ramadan,” in collaboration with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, aiming to promote public safety and encourage positive community behavior during the Holy Month.
The initiative features a 15-episode programme that will be broadcast on Sharjah TV and shared across social media platforms throughout Ramadan. Each episode delivers short yet impactful messages focusing on key issues such as traffic safety, protection against online fraud, and the importance of social responsibility. The campaign seeks to raise awareness about common risks that may arise during the busy Ramadan period, while guiding residents on how to stay vigilant and responsible.
Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Butti Al Hajri stated that the programme presents realistic, everyday scenarios to ensure the messages resonate with viewers. He explained that each episode concludes with clear educational takeaways, reinforcing the importance of complying with safety regulations and highlighting the police’s community-centered approach. The campaign reflects Sharjah Police’s continued commitment to enhancing quality of life and fostering a safe, cooperative environment during Ramadan.
