The United Arab Emirates faced extremely hot weather today, with temperatures reaching a scorching 49.8°C in Al Jazeera BG, located in the Al Dhafra region. This high was recorded at 2:45 PM, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
While the weather is expected to remain mostly clear for the rest of the afternoon, humidity levels will increase during the night. This rise in humidity could lead to fog or mist, especially in coastal areas, making visibility difficult in some places.
Winds are predicted to be light to moderate overall, but they may become stronger at times. The sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to stay calm to slightly rough.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, the weather will continue to be fair to partly cloudy during the day. At night and in the early morning, humidity will remain high, which may again result in mist or light fog. Winds will gradually shift direction, moving from the southeast to the northwest, and could reach speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour in gusts.
Residents are advised to take precautions when going outdoors, stay hydrated, and drive carefully, especially during early morning hours when fog might reduce visibility.
