UAE Airlines Emirates, Etihad, & Air Arabia Announced Partial Resumption of Flights to Pakistan & India

UAE airlines, including Emirates, Etihad, and Air Arabia, have begun partially resuming their flight operations to Pakistan and India. This decision comes after a recent ceasefire agreement between the two neighboring countries, which followed four days of tension and conflict. However, these flights will be operated under certain conditions, depending on how the security situation develops in the coming days.

The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has confirmed that the country’s airspace has been fully reopened. An updated Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued to inform airlines about the changes. All airports in Pakistan are now open and functioning as usual. However, travelers are still advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines to get the latest updates on flight timings and availability, as schedules may vary.

On the other hand, while Pakistan has reopened its skies, India is still taking precautions. Authorities in India have temporarily closed 32 airports located in the northern and western parts of the country. This closure is currently affecting civil aviation operations and may cause delays or cancellations for some flights.

Officials from both countries have stated that although the situation is improving, it may take some time before flight operations return to complete normalcy. This is because many aircraft and support systems were moved during the conflict and now need to be repositioned and checked before regular services can resume fully.

Passengers planning to travel to or from the region are encouraged to stay informed and plan ahead, as the situation continues to develop.
