The UAE Ministry of Interior has introduced the application process for Emirati citizens interested in joining the “Global Entry” program. This follows a recent agreement with the United States, signed during President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to the US in September.
The Global Entry program is designed to help UAE citizens enjoy faster, smoother entry into the United States when traveling for tourism, business, or personal reasons. This initiative is part of US border protection efforts and allows eligible Emiratis to use dedicated lanes at over 75 US airports. By offering expedited processing at these airport gates, the program aims to make travel easier and more efficient for Emirati travelers.
This step reflects the strong relationship between the UAE and the US and demonstrates both nations’ commitment to improving travel experiences for their citizens.
