UAE residents may soon receive their products in less than 15 minutes through fully autonomous delivery drones. This new service was demonstrated by Noon during the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week, giving people a preview of what fast and futuristic delivery could look like in the country.
At the event, visitors stopped by the Noon Minutes booth, where they could place orders using easy-to-use touchscreens. After selecting items such as snacks, drinks, food, or personal care products, drones quickly picked up the orders and delivered them within minutes. The live demonstrations ran throughout the two-day event and showed how efficient and reliable drone delivery can be.
This advanced system is supported by multiple technology partners. The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) provides the core technology, SteerAI manages the movement and coordination of the drone fleet, and LODD oversees hardware monitoring to ensure safe and smooth operations.
The project highlights how the UAE continues to adopt new technologies to improve daily life. If rolled out on a larger scale, drone delivery could make shopping faster, more convenient, and environmentally friendly for residents across the country.
