The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security has launched a new online visa service, making it easier for residents to invite friends or family members to visit the country for up to 90 days.
This convenient service offers flexibility, allowing visitors to choose between single or multiple-entry visas and stay durations of 30, 60, or 90 days. To apply, individuals need to meet a few basic requirements, including a valid passport, health insurance, and a confirmed travel ticket.
The visa is specifically available for first and second-degree relatives of UAE citizens and foreign residents. Authorities have emphasized the importance of adhering to the visa’s duration to avoid fines or penalties for overstaying.
This new initiative aims to strengthen family ties and make travel to the UAE more accessible for visitors, further enhancing the country’s reputation as a welcoming destination.
