Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of well-known Emirati businessman Hussein Khansaheb, honoring him for his remarkable service to the nation.
Khansaheb was a pioneer in the business world, with his company established in 1935, making it one of the earliest firms to contribute to the UAE’s infrastructure growth. Beyond his role in business, he dedicated much of his life to social welfare, supporting housing projects for low-income families, building orphanages, and helping establish health centres for those in need.
Sheikh Mohammed remembered him as a visionary leader whose generosity and hard work left a lasting mark on both the economy and the community. He noted that Khansaheb’s contributions will remain a proud part of the UAE’s history and will continue to inspire future generations.
The funeral prayer for Hussein Khansaheb will be held at the Martyrs Mosque in Dubai, where family, friends, and members of the community will gather to pay their respects.
