UAE Police Launch Summer Youth Programmes to Build Discipline and Civic Values

Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah Police have started their yearly summer programmes for Emirati students. These programmes are designed to teach discipline, leadership, and good citizenship values in a fun and educational way.

Ajman’s “Future Police” programme welcomed 315 students aged 12 to 17. The participants will take part in activities like military-style drills, self-defence training, physical fitness sessions, and lessons about UAE culture and values. The goal is to help young people stay active during the summer while learning useful skills and building character.

Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah launched its “Police Friends” programme with 150 students. This programme focuses on sports, security awareness, and learning through experience. One of the highlights is an educational trip to the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre. The students also benefit from modern facilities such as gyms, classrooms, and training areas where they can engage in various hands-on activities.

Both programmes aim to create a strong sense of patriotism and responsibility among the youth. By involving young people in such well-rounded programmes, the police departments hope to guide them toward becoming confident, respectful, and law-abiding citizens in the future.

These summer initiatives are part of a broader effort to invest in the next generation by offering them a safe and structured environment to learn, grow, and explore their interests—all while building a positive relationship with the police and understanding their important role in society.
