UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in New Delhi on Monday for an important official visit to India, where he was given a warm red-carpet welcome by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Modi personally received the UAE President at the airport, showing the importance of the visit. The two leaders were seen greeting each other with hugs and handshakes, reflecting the strong personal connection and mutual respect they share. Modi referred to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed as a “brother,” underlining the close and friendly relationship between the two nations.
During the visit, both leaders are scheduled to hold detailed bilateral discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, energy, technology, defence, and cultural exchange. The talks aim to further expand strategic partnerships and explore new opportunities that benefit both countries.
This visit comes at a time when India and the UAE continue to deepen their ties through regular high-level meetings, growing economic collaboration, and people-to-people connections.
