The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been ranked the happiest country in the Arab world and the 21st happiest country in the world, according to the latest World Happiness Report, which is supported by the United Nations. The UAE received a happiness score of 6.791, making it the highest-ranked country in the region. Following the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain were also among the happiest countries in the Arab world.
The World Happiness Report measures happiness by looking at different factors, including a country’s economy (GDP), life expectancy, generosity, social support, freedom to make life choices, and levels of corruption. On a global scale, Finland was ranked the happiest country in the world, with a score of 7.809.
In addition to the country’s high ranking, the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai were also recognized as some of the best cities in the world for overall well-being. The UAE’s strong focus on safety, security, and quality of life continues to contribute to its high happiness ranking and the satisfaction of its residents.
