The United Arab Emirates has chosen Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh as the new Minister of Health. The announcement was made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
This decision was officially approved by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Mohammed also thanked the outgoing minister, AbdulRahman Al Owais, for his long and dedicated work in improving and strengthening the country’s health system. Although he is leaving his role as Health Minister, Al Owais will continue to serve the government as the Minister of State for National Council Affairs.
