UAE Teens Built a Mini F1 Car that Hits Speeds of 80kmph

A group of students from Dubai is gaining attention ahead of the upcoming F1 in Schoolsâ„¢ UAE National Finals for building a small racing car that combines smart design with inspiration from real Formula 1 racing.

This high-speed miniature car was designed and built entirely by the student team called Team Founders. It features a smooth, aerodynamic shape and was carefully engineered to move as fast as possible. The car can reach speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour, which is very impressive for such a small model.

The team followed all the rules of the F1 in Schoolsâ„¢ competition, which includes using only one small COâ‚‚ cartridge weighing just 8 grams to power the car. When released, the car races down a 20-meter track in just a little over one second.

Hannan Ali, who leads the team’s business and planning efforts, spoke about the hard work and creativity that went into designing the car. He explained how the team used their science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills to make sure the car was both fast and well-built.

This competition is part of a global program that encourages students to use real-world problem-solving and teamwork while learning about engineering, design, and technology. Team Founders is now getting ready to compete against other top teams from across the country, hoping their innovative car will help them stand out in the national finals.
