The Department of Finance in Ajman has launched a new government prepaid card called ‘Sahala,’ designed to offer a secure and easy way to make payments for government services. This card can be used through the ‘Ajman Pay’ platform, providing residents with a more convenient option for handling digital transactions.
The goal of introducing the ‘Sahala’ card is to create flexible and secure payment methods that support the emirate’s growing digital economy. By making it easier for people to pay for services online, the card also aims to improve the overall quality of life for residents.
This new initiative was showcased at GITEX 2024, one of the region’s largest technology events, with Sheikh AbdulAziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, present at the unveiling. The launch of ‘Sahala’ marks another step towards creating a smarter, more connected city, where digital services are easily accessible to everyone.
