Dubai’s pioneering food tour company, Frying Pan Adventures, founded by sisters Arva and Farida Ahmed in 2013, is set to close after one final season.
The company will offer a limited number of souq and Creekside food walks from October to December 2026, giving residents and tourists one last chance to experience its celebrated culinary tours.
The sisters cited scaling challenges, difficult periods, and workforce issues behind the decision.
Despite the closure, their passion for food will continue. Arva plans to explore and document food across the UAE and wider region through her YouTube channel, Ditch the Silver.
