The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has announced a new “one-stop” air travel system that will make it easier for passengers to travel between its six member countries. Under this new system, travelers will only need to go through airport security and immigration checks once, even if they are flying to multiple GCC destinations.
The first phase of the project will begin in December 2025, connecting the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. After it is fully launched, passengers will be able to fly across all GCC countries just like traveling between cities within one country, creating a smoother, faster, and more connected travel experience for everyone in the region.
