Abu Dhabi has unveiled a major initiative aimed at training 20,000 frontline personnel across key sectors, including healthcare, emergency response, and security. The program is supported by an annual budget of AED 100 million, reflecting a strong commitment to strengthening national readiness and resilience.
The initiative was officially introduced during the Istijaba Emergency Response Forum, where authorities outlined plans to establish a unified and accredited training framework. This system is designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical simulations and coordinated multi-agency exercises, ensuring that personnel are fully equipped to respond effectively to a wide range of crisis scenarios.
By focusing on integrated training methods, the program aims to enhance overall preparedness, improve response times, and streamline coordination between different sectors. A key component of the initiative is the incorporation of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to support decision-making and operational efficiency during emergencies.
Developed in collaboration with leading international institutions, the initiative underscores the United Arab Emirates’s broader vision of elevating its public safety infrastructure. It reflects a strategic effort to not only enhance national capabilities but also to set new global benchmarks in emergency response systems and frontline workforce development.
