Dubai’s Ibn Battuta Mall has introduced a new fitness initiative called “12K Walk to Unlock,” encouraging visitors to stay active while enjoying exclusive shopping, dining, and entertainment rewards.
The campaign, which runs until August 1, 2026, invites participants to walk through the mall’s six uniquely themed courts while tracking their steps using the Fitze mobile app.
Participants can unlock a range of rewards by reaching step milestones of 6,000, 8,000, 10,000, and 12,000 steps, with each milestone offering special discounts, deals, and other benefits at participating outlets throughout the mall.
The initiative is designed to make physical activity more engaging and rewarding, particularly during the summer months when extreme temperatures make outdoor exercise difficult.
The campaign also aligns with Dubai’s wider efforts to promote healthier lifestyles by encouraging residents and visitors to incorporate more movement into their daily routines.
By transforming a regular shopping trip into an interactive fitness experience, Ibn Battuta Mall aims to provide a comfortable indoor environment where people of all ages can remain active while enjoying a variety of retail, dining, and leisure experiences.
