UAE airports welcomed a record-breaking 156.8 million passengers in 2025, representing a 6.1% increase compared to the previous year and further strengthening the country’s status as one of the world’s leading aviation and travel hubs.
The continued rise in passenger traffic reflects strong demand for international travel, expanding airline networks, and ongoing investments in modern airport infrastructure.
Aircraft movements also increased by 6.8% to reach 855,300 during the year, highlighting the sustained growth of the UAE’s aviation sector. Dubai remained the country’s busiest airport, handling 104.5 million passengers, while Abu Dhabi and Sharjah recorded impressive double-digit growth as they expanded their global connectivity and services.
The latest figures underscore the UAE’s success in attracting tourists, business travelers, and transit passengers, with the aviation industry continuing to play a vital role in supporting tourism, trade, investment, and the nation’s broader economic development.
