Dubai is helping outdoor workers stay safe during the summer by distributing 2 million chilled bottles of water, juices, and ice creams through the Al Freej Fridge campaign.
The initiative is designed to support construction workers, sanitation staff, delivery riders, and landscaping crews who continue working in extreme temperatures across the emirate.
The humanitarian campaign is being carried out with the support of the UAE Food Bank, Ferjan Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and Suqia UAE.
Volunteers, along with refrigerated vehicles, will deliver refreshments to workers at various locations throughout Dubai until September 3, helping them stay hydrated during the hottest months of the year.
The initiative reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to community welfare and worker well-being, while promoting kindness, gratitude, and appreciation for the frontline workforce that plays a vital role in keeping Dubai running every day throughout the summer.
