The total number reached 6.396 million riders, marking a 14% rise compared to the same period last year when it was 5.615 million riders. The metro system played a major role in transporting passengers, with 2.388 million riders on both the Red and Green Lines.

Public buses also played a vital role, carrying 1.409 million passengers during the festive holiday. Additionally, marine transport, including ferries, facilitated the journey for 260 thousand commuters. Taxis remained a popular choice, with 1.973 million passengers opting for this mode of transport. Shared mobility options catered to the needs of 261 thousand riders.

These figures demonstrate the efficiency and convenience of the transportation services provided by the RTA during the festive holiday of Eid Al Adha. The availability of multiple transportation options, including an extensive metro system, buses, marine transport, taxis, and shared mobility, ensured that residents and visitors had various choices to meet their travel needs.
