Dubai is set to introduce its first accredited Bachelor’s degree in Music, with the three-year programme scheduled to begin in September 2026.
SAE University College Dubai will give students the opportunity to explore songwriting, music production, contemporary and electronic music, live performance, artist management and the business side of the music industry.
The programme will also cover key areas such as copyright, contracts and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
By combining classroom learning with professional studio training, industry projects and live music experiences, the degree aims to equip students with practical skills for the rapidly evolving creative sector.
The launch marks another step in Dubai’s growing efforts to expand opportunities for creative talent and strengthen its position as a hub for the region’s music and creative industries.
