Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced temporary traffic diversions as ongoing Etihad Rail construction works affect several routes in the emirate.
The diversions will remain in place until October 5, with motorists urged to follow official road signs and use the designated alternative routes.
Drivers are advised to plan their journeys ahead of time, allow additional travel time and remain cautious when approaching construction and work zones.
The temporary changes are part of infrastructure development connected to the UAE’s expanding Etihad Rail network, which is strengthening connectivity across the country.
Authorities have called on all road users to cooperate with traffic instructions, drive carefully and remain alert around diversion areas.
The measures are intended to maintain smoother traffic flow and minimise disruption while the rail-related works are underway.
