According to Dubai Jewellery Group data, 24K gold opened at Dh531.25 per gram, up Dh3 from Monday’s closing price of Dh528.25. The latest rise also means 24K gold has gained around Dh35 per gram over the past month, highlighting the continued strength of the precious metal market.
Meanwhile, 22K gold climbed to Dh492 per gram, while 21K, 18K and 14K gold prices also recorded gains. The increase in local gold rates comes as international bullion prices continued to strengthen, with spot gold trading near $4,401 per ounce and gaining almost 1 per cent during Tuesday’s trading session. The movement in global gold prices remains a key factor influencing daily rates in the UAE.
With 22K gold now just Dh8 away from the Dh500 per gram level, buyers and investors in Dubai are closely watching the market for further price movements.
The continued rise could have an impact on jewellery buyers, particularly those planning larger purchases, as even small changes in the per-gram rate can significantly affect the final cost. Gold prices are expected to remain closely watched as global market conditions continue to influence demand and bullion prices.
