Dubai has taken another big step towards a cleaner and greener future. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Terra Tech Ltd, has launched 36 new battery-swapping stations across the city for electric bikes.
These stations are designed especially for delivery companies, making it easier and faster for riders to replace batteries instead of waiting to recharge them. This will not only save time but also help businesses cut down on their operating costs.
The project is part of Dubai’s Commercial and Logistics Land Transport Strategy 2030, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by 30%. By supporting eco-friendly transport, the city is showing its commitment to sustainability, clean energy, and innovative mobility solutions.
This collaboration also includes the development of a complete system to support delivery services, highlighting Dubai’s readiness to adopt advanced green technologies and set an example for the future of transport.
