A jeweller based in Dubai has unveiled an extraordinary diamond-studded Lego World Cup trophy worth approximately Dh300,000, making it one of the most expensive and unique Lego-inspired creations ever produced. The luxury piece blends creativity, craftsmanship, and sports passion into a one-of-a-kind collectible.
Designed by Hemant Karamchandani, the 36-centimeter trophy is embellished with more than 900 diamonds along with 18-carat gold detailing, transforming the traditional Lego structure into a high-end artistic masterpiece. The design reimagines the iconic FIFA World Cup trophy in a way that combines playful imagination with luxury jewellery.
Karamchandani revealed that the inspiration came from watching his son build a Lego set, which sparked the idea of elevating a simple toy concept into something far more extravagant. He spent over a month carefully redesigning and crafting the trophy, ensuring every element reflected precision, elegance, and attention to detail.
The diamond-encrusted trophy is set to be showcased at various events and exhibitions across the United Arab Emirates as part of a youth sports campaign. The initiative aims to inspire young people by promoting creativity, ambition, and active participation in football ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, highlighting how sport and innovation can come together in unique ways.
