Dubai’s Global Village has already commenced its 28th season, initiating a week earlier than the usual start date on October 18th. Since the gates swung open at 6 pm on the first day, visitors have been treated to a delightful array of entertainment, shopping opportunities, and rich cultural experiences.
Ticket Choices
For those planning to visit, it is wise to consider the available ticket options. Booking online presents a 10% discount. The Value Tickets, perfect for visits from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), are priced at Dh22.5 online or Dh25 at the gate. If you desire more flexibility, the Any Day Tickets allow entry on any day of the week, including weekends and public holidays, at Dh27 online or Dh30 at the gate.
Certain visitors are in for a special treat, with free entry for senior citizens, children under three, and people with disabilities, along with one companion. Please note that these tickets grant access for a single entry during Season 28.
Your entry ticket covers access to all the pavilions and free shows, with only a couple of attractions incurring additional charges: the Stunt Show at Dh20 and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not at Dh45.
Operating hours
- Sunday to Wednesday from 4 pm to 12 Am
- Thursday to Saturday and Public Holidays from 4 pm to 1 am.
- It’s important to know that Tuesdays are reserved for families and women, except when it’s a public holiday.
Pavilions
Global Village is famous for its country-themed pavilions, and this year, there are 27 of them. Each pavilion showcases the culture, cuisine, clothing, and performances of different countries. Some of the popular pavilions to explore include Turkey, Japan, Europe, Egypt, India, Pakistan, and Africa. Moreover, the night sky is illuminated with a dazzling fireworks display every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm.
Shows & Performances
Season 28 promises over 40,000 shows and 400 performers. You can look forward to AINJAA’s drumming, the incredible Urban Crew from America’s Got Talent, Fusion Japan’s acrobatics, and the unique fusion of South Asian and Celtic drumming by the Dhol Foundation from the United Kingdom.
