Traveling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai will soon become much faster and more convenient, with Etihad Rail announcing new journey times for its passenger trains. The company revealed that the trip between Abu Dhabi and Dubai will take just 57 minutes, making it a quick option for people traveling between the two major cities.
In addition to this, the journey from Abu Dhabi to Al Ruwais will take 70 minutes, while traveling to Fujairah will take around 105 minutes. These times show a significant improvement over current travel options, making the new rail system an attractive choice for commuters and tourists alike.
Etihad Rail’s high-tech passenger service will connect 11 cities across the UAE. These cities include Al Sila, Fujairah, Ruwais, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai, providing fast and efficient transport across the country. So far, two passenger stations have been confirmed: one in Sakamkam, Fujairah, and another in Sharjah’s University City, giving travelers convenient stops along the route.
The rail project is part of the UAE’s larger effort to improve transportation infrastructure and reduce travel times between key locations.
