Musaffah to Launch 3,921 Paid Parking Spaces in Abu Dhabi This Month

Q Mobility has announced a major expansion of paid parking services in the Musaffah area of Abu Dhabi, adding 3,921 new parking spaces that will officially become operational from May 18.

The newly introduced paid parking zones will cover sectors M5, M6, M21, M22, and M23, and the project is being implemented under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre. The expansion is part of ongoing efforts to improve urban mobility and better manage vehicle movement in Musaffah, which is considered one of the capital’s busiest industrial and commercial districts.

According to officials, the initiative is designed to help reduce random parking, improve traffic circulation, and create a more organized parking system for residents, workers, and visitors in the area. Authorities also stated that the project will contribute to enhanced road safety by minimizing congestion and ensuring smoother vehicle access across key industrial sectors.

As part of the new parking plan, designated parking bays for people of determination have also been introduced to support accessibility and provide more convenient parking options for individuals with special needs.

The standard parking tariff for the newly activated spaces has been set at Dh2 per hour. Motorists will be able to pay parking fees through multiple channels, including mobile applications, SMS services, and parking machines installed throughout the area, making the payment process more accessible and convenient for users.
