Rainfall Expected Across Parts of the UAE Until March 12

Weather authorities in the United Arab Emirates have issued an alert forecasting rainfall in several parts of the country until March 12. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) stated that cloud systems moving in from the west are expected to bring light to moderate rainfall across different regions, particularly affecting western, coastal, and some eastern areas. The changing weather pattern may lead to intermittent showers and cloudy conditions over the coming days.

According to the forecast, northwesterly to northeasterly winds are expected to blow at speeds ranging between 35 and 45 km/h. These winds could raise dust and sand in open and desert areas, potentially reducing horizontal visibility and creating challenging driving conditions in some locations. Residents and motorists have been advised to remain cautious, especially during periods of strong winds and dust activity.

Authorities also indicated that temperatures may experience a slight drop at times due to increased cloud cover and rainfall. Meanwhile, sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to become rough on some occasions, while the Oman Sea is likely to remain slight to moderate. Officials have urged the public to stay updated with weather advisories and take necessary precautions during unstable weather conditions.
