Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, has announced the launch of a new nonstop route between Riyadh and Tokyo, with operations set to begin in November 2026.
The new service will operate three times a week from King Khalid International Airport, further expanding the airline’s international network and enhancing connectivity between the Kingdom and Japan.
The route is expected to strengthen tourism, trade, business collaboration, and cultural exchanges while offering travelers greater convenience.
The initiative supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to diversify the economy, boost tourism, and establish the Kingdom as a leading global travel and logistics hub.
It is also expected to facilitate increased visitor traffic ahead of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a key destination for major international events.
