Sharjah Municipality has started two major projects to improve the supply of water for irrigating green spaces, showing its strong commitment to building better infrastructure.
These projects include setting up new stations to pump treated water, which will play a key role in providing water to farming areas as part of Sharjah’s yearly agricultural plans.
Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, the Director-General of the municipality, highlighted how important these projects are for creating a reliable and sustainable source of water for irrigation. This will benefit not only green spaces but also the larger agricultural efforts in the region.
Improving the infrastructure is essential to making sure water is used efficiently for irrigating these areas. These upgrades are a key part of Sharjah’s strategy to support sustainable development and maintain its green spaces, ensuring the city continues to thrive environmentally and agriculturally.
