Etihad Rail has announced that passengers aged three years and above are entitled to carry two pieces of luggage free of charge, regardless of the ticket class they purchase.
Travelers who wish to bring additional baggage must arrange and pay for it in advance through Etihad Rail’s official booking channels.
To ensure a smooth travel experience, passengers are advised to clearly label all luggage with their personal details and securely store their belongings in the designated onboard storage areas throughout the journey.
The passenger rail service is designed to offer a comfortable and modern travel experience, featuring complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets, USB charging ports, bilingual passenger information screens, and onboard refreshments for added convenience.
Etihad Rail has also confirmed that pets are welcome onboard when transported in approved carriers that meet the company’s guidelines.
In addition, the trains are equipped with accessible facilities for passengers with disabilities, ensuring a more inclusive travel experience.
To further improve connectivity, shuttle bus services will operate between the Abu Dhabi station and several key destinations across the city, making it easier for passengers to complete their journeys using public transport.
