UAE parents, get peace of mind as schools reopen. You can now easily track your child’s school bus with the ‘DTC School Bus’ App. Developed by Dubai Taxi Corporation, it offers handy features:
- Get real-time notifications when your child arrives at school or home.
- Receive Alerts in case of traffic jams or emergencies.
- Report your child’s absence.
- Keep track of how many bus trips your child has missed.
Remember, this app is available only if your child’s school is partnered with DTC. To check if your school is onboard, contact the school administration or sign up on the app and select your school from the list.
Here’s how to sign up:
Step 1: Download and Register
- Download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Tap ‘Create an account’ and provide your details: Full name, Email, mobile number.
- Enter the verification code sent via SMS.
- Add your Emirates ID and its copies.
- Set a password and agree to the terms.
- Tap ‘Register.’
Step 2: Add Your Child’s Info
- After registering, enter your child’s personal details, school info, and address.
- Fill in your child’s name, gender, Emirates ID, and attach a passport-sized photo.
- Enter their date of birth and nationality.
- Provide school details, including the name, session, grade, class section, student ID, and term.
- Add your residence address by selecting the emirate or using the Makani QR code.
- Set your pick-up/drop-off point.
- Specify transport information, such as one-way or two-way trip.
- Tap ‘Submit.’
Payment
If you have already paid the bus transportation fee at your child’s school, you won’t need to make additional payments on the app.
Now, parents can easily keep tabs on their child’s school bus, ensuring their safety and timely arrival. It is a helpful tool for UAE parents as the new school year begins.
