The UAE passport has once again secured the top position as the world’s most powerful passport in the 2026 Passport Index by Arton Capital.
With a mobility score of 182, Emirati citizens can travel to 138 destinations visa-free, access 44 destinations with visa-on-arrival, and require prior visas for only 16 countries, reflecting the nation’s expanding global reach and diplomatic strength.
The latest ranking underscores the UAE’s continued commitment to enhancing international mobility and global connectivity.
The Passport Index evaluates access to 199 destinations based on visa-free travel, visa-on-arrival facilities, and electronic travel authorisations, placing the UAE ahead of many of the world’s leading economies in terms of travel freedom.
