Schools across the UAE have recorded outstanding results in the latest International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, with students significantly outperforming global averages despite facing an academic year disrupted by regional tensions and the cancellation of final examinations.
Instead of traditional exams, the International Baccalaureate assessed students using its Non-Exam Contingency Measure (NECM), which evaluates academic performance through coursework and other assessment evidence.
Leading institutions, including and , reported pass rates of up to 100 per cent, with average scores comfortably exceeding the worldwide average.
The results were further highlighted by four UAE students achieving the perfect score of 45 points, placing them among fewer than 0.1 per cent of IB Diploma candidates globally.
Many graduates also secured offers from some of the world’s most prestigious universities, including , , and , reflecting the high standard of education and academic excellence across the UAE.
