    Visa Requirements for UAE Nationals

UAE residents may arrive in Oman from any country, but they will need to present a residence visa for UAE valid for at least 3 months. If you are a UAE national, you are in luck! You can enter Oman visa-free at any border port, by road or by air, and can stay in the country for up to 14 days. However, you will be required to show a confirmed hotel booking, health insurance, and a return ticket.

    Visa Requirements for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals residing in the UAE will need to possess a pre arranged visa before departing for Oman. They can apply for their Oman visa at the official portal or check their options online. Unfortunately, Oman discontinued issuing visas on arrival in 2019, irrespective of residency and citizenship. This means that travelers who are not nationals of UAE or any GCC country will need to apply for an entry visa before flying to Oman.

So, how much does an Oman visa cost for UAE residents? Well, if you are a UAE national, you do not require an Oman visa and may visit Oman free of cost. For other travelers, the price of a 30 day tourist visa is about AED 50 (OMR 5).

It is important to have a valid residence visa for UAE and a pre arranged visa for Oman before planning your trip. UAE nationals can visit Oman visa free, but foreign nationals will need to apply for an entry visa. With this information in mind, you can now plan your trip to Oman with ease and enjoy the country’s rich culture and stunning landscapes.
