Here’s How to use UAE Pass to Access 5,000 Government and Private Services in the UAE

UAE is taking another big step toward a fully digital experience for residents and workers. From October 18, 2024, people working in the private sector will need to use the UAE Pass to access all services provided by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE). No more usernames, no more passwords—just one secure login for everything.

This shift means that if someone wants to check their employment contract, report a salary delay, or download their labour card, they’ll need UAE Pass to do it. It’s not just for government matters either. The UAE Pass unlocks access to over 5,000 public and private services, making everyday tasks like bill payments or visa applications easier and faster.

How to Apply for UAE Pass

    • Download the UAE Pass app from the App Store or Google Play.
    • Open the app and tap on “Create Account”.
    • Agree to the terms and conditions and tap “Continue”.
    • Scan the front and back of your Emirates ID using your phone’s camera.
    • Review the personal details displayed (name, Emirates ID number, DOB, etc.) and confirm.
    • Enter your mobile number and email address.
    • Verify both using the one-time passwords (OTPs) sent to your phone and email.
    • Create a four-digit PIN for quick access to the app.
    • Complete face verification by allowing the app to scan your face.
    • Set a secure password to be used as an alternative login method.

For workers across the UAE, especially those in the private sector, this digital ID is becoming a must-have. It simplifies paperwork, reduces delays and puts control into the hands of the user. Employers and employees alike are encouraged to switch to UAE Pass now to avoid service disruption later.
