Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has shared a glimpse of his Etihad Rail ticket, offering a look ahead of the highly anticipated launch of passenger train services connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The new passenger service is scheduled to officially begin on September 30, marking a major milestone in the UAE’s expanding railway network.
The route will connect Al Yalayis Station in Dubai’s Jumeirah Golf Estates with Mohammed Bin Zayed City Station in Abu Dhabi, providing residents and visitors with another convenient option for travelling between the two emirates.
Passengers will be able to choose between different travel classes, with Comfort Class fares starting from Dh39, while Premium Class tickets start from Dh109.
The introduction of the service is expected to provide a comfortable alternative to road travel while further strengthening connectivity between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
