Sharjah has announced a comprehensive public transport plan for the Eid holidays, deploying 155 buses and scheduling nearly 9,760 trips to accommodate the expected increase in passenger movement across the emirate. The initiative aims to ensure smooth and convenient travel for residents and visitors during the festive period, when shopping centres, parks, tourist attractions, and family gathering spots are expected to witness heavy crowds.
Transport authorities stated that the expanded operational plan will cover major residential areas, commercial districts, and key destinations throughout Sharjah. Officials added that additional monitoring teams and field staff will be deployed to manage operations efficiently and reduce waiting times for commuters. The Eid transport strategy is part of broader efforts to enhance public mobility, improve traffic flow, and provide safe and reliable transportation services during one of the busiest holiday periods of the year.
