Ajman Co-op has launched a new family support initiative aimed at assisting eligible shareholder families with the expenses associated with welcoming a newborn. Under the programme, qualifying beneficiaries will receive Dh300 per month for six consecutive months, providing a total benefit of Dh1,800 for each child born during the eligibility period.
The initiative covers babies born between January 1 and December 31, 2026, and is designed to help parents manage the costs of early childcare. The monthly support can be used to purchase essential baby products, groceries, and other household necessities from Ajman Co-op branches, helping ease financial pressures during the first months of a child’s life.
Applications for the programme will open on July 1, with all requests subject to eligibility checks and verification before approval. The initiative reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to strengthening family wellbeing and enhancing social support programmes, particularly during the Year of the Family, while encouraging community-focused initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents.
