Cloudy Skies & Rough Seas Forecast Across UAE as Temperatures

The United Arab Emirates is likely to see generally fair to partly cloudy weather on Sunday, with periods of increased cloud cover, particularly over coastal regions and offshore islands, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology. While conditions will remain stable overall, the presence of clouds in some areas may bring slight variations in temperature and visibility throughout the day.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate across most parts of the country, though they could occasionally strengthen, reaching speeds of up to 40 kmph in certain areas. These winds may cause blowing dust in open regions, slightly reducing visibility at times, especially during the afternoon.

Temperatures will vary across the UAE, with minimums around 24°C and highs climbing to approximately 42°C in interior areas. Major cities are also set to experience warm conditions, with Dubai forecast to reach around 37°C, while Abu Dhabi is expected to see a high of about 36°C. According to the NCM, temperatures are likely to rise further over the next couple of days, signaling the gradual onset of more intense summer heat across the region.

Meanwhile, sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to be moderate but could become rough at times, particularly during the morning hours due to stronger winds. Authorities have advised those planning marine activities to remain cautious, as sudden changes in sea conditions could pose risks for smaller vessels and water-based operations.
