Etihad Rail has opened ticket bookings for its upcoming passenger service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the new route scheduled to officially launch on September 30.
The service will operate from Dubai’s Al Yalayis Station to Mohamed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi, providing passengers with another option for travelling between the two emirates.
Comfort Class fares start from Dh39, while Premium Class tickets begin at Dh109. The journey is expected to take approximately 57 minutes, offering a faster and more convenient travel option for daily commuters, residents and visitors.
The Dubai station will also be connected to the Dubai Metro network, allowing passengers to combine rail and metro services for easier transfers and improved connectivity across the city.
The launch marks another step in expanding passenger rail connectivity in the UAE and creating additional transport options for inter-emirate travel.
