Sharjah’s Meliha Dairy Farm is transforming up to 24 tonnes of organic waste into nutrient-rich compost every day through advanced composting technology. The waste is processed inside a fully enclosed system, helping turn agricultural waste into usable compost in around 14 days.
The system is designed to reduce unpleasant odours, control pests and limit liquid runoff while recovering valuable nutrients that can be returned to agricultural fields. The approach also supports more sustainable dairy farming practices and contributes to healthier soil.
