Air Arabia, a budget airline based in Sharjah, has introduced an increase in its hand baggage allowance. Passengers can now carry up to 10 kilograms of cabin baggage on board. This includes carry-on bags, personal items like handbags or small backpacks, and any duty-free purchases made before the flight.
The updated allowance is available for all flights departing from Sharjah and the airline’s hubs in Egypt and Morocco. For families traveling with infants, Air Arabia has added an extra benefit. Parents are allowed an additional 3 kilograms of hand baggage specifically for essential items they might need during the flight, such as baby food, diapers, or toys.
This new policy aims to make air travel more convenient and flexible for passengers, allowing them to carry more of their essential belongings without extra charges. It’s a thoughtful move by the airline to enhance the travel experience, especially for families traveling with young children.
