Dubai has introduced an innovative new “Work from Park” initiative, designed to combine professional productivity with the calming environment of outdoor green spaces. The project reflects the city’s growing focus on flexible lifestyles, smart urban development, and improving overall well-being for residents and visitors.
The first location under this initiative is scheduled to open in May 2026 at Al Barsha Pond Park. The site will feature modern, tech-enabled workspaces equipped to support remote professionals with practical and comfortable facilities while surrounded by nature. The concept aims to create a healthier and more refreshing alternative to traditional indoor offices and cafés.
The initiative is expected to benefit freelancers, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and remote employees who are seeking inspiring spaces to work outside conventional settings. By transforming selected parks into functional work hubs, Dubai is responding to changing global work trends while preserving the parks’ recreational and community value.
Developed in partnership with private sector companies, the program aligns closely with Dubai’s long-term 2040 urban master plan and broader economic strategy. It supports goals related to sustainability, innovation, and enhanced quality of life, while also encouraging a more balanced approach to work and leisure.
Through this move, Dubai continues to position itself as a forward-thinking city that embraces modern lifestyles, smart infrastructure, and creative solutions for the future of work.
