Dubai Ambulance has launched a comprehensive emergency preparedness plan for Eid Al Adha, deploying 960 trained paramedics, responders, and supervisors across 160 ambulance locations throughout the emirate to ensure fast and efficient medical assistance during the holiday period.
The large-scale operation has been designed to handle the expected rise in public gatherings, travel activity, and tourist movement during the Eid celebrations. Ambulance crews and emergency response teams have been strategically stationed near beaches, public parks, shopping centres, airports, Eid prayer grounds, entertainment venues, and major tourist attractions across Dubai.
In addition to regular ambulance services, authorities have also activated specialised rescue and emergency units, including marine rescue teams, bicycle paramedics for crowded areas, air ambulance services, and rapid response vehicles to improve access and reduce emergency response times.
Officials said the enhanced deployment is aimed at maintaining public safety and ensuring immediate medical support in all parts of the city throughout the festive holidays. Dubai Ambulance confirmed that all emergency services will remain fully operational around the clock during Eid Al Adha.
Authorities also urged motorists to cooperate with emergency teams by giving way to ambulances on roads and highways to help responders reach patients without delay. Families visiting crowded public areas were advised to closely supervise children and follow safety guidelines to avoid accidents or emergencies during the celebrations.
The expanded emergency plan reflects Dubai’s broader efforts to strengthen public safety measures and provide residents and visitors with uninterrupted healthcare and rescue services during one of the busiest holiday periods of the year.
