Dubai Police have successfully recovered and returned a misplaced bag containing luxury watches and electronic devices worth more than Dh100,000 to a Gulf national at Dubai International Airport.
The incident took place at Terminal 1 arrivals, where the passenger accidentally left behind the bag while passing through the airport. Upon receiving the report, airport security teams and Dubai Police acted quickly, reviewing surveillance footage and tracing the traveller’s movements to locate the missing luggage as part of a rapid search operation.
Authorities later confirmed that the bag contained three high-value luxury watches worth Dh103,880, along with a laptop and a tablet, making it a significant loss for the traveller. After completing the necessary verification procedures to confirm ownership, the valuables were safely handed back to the passenger.
